Chocolate Party

I didn't get a picture of the invites for this one, but they were large chocolate bars covered with wrappers we made. I used publisher to make them. We simply took off their paper wrappers, leaving the foil wrappers, folded and glued our wrappers on. They were hand delivered and read something like this...

Brooklynn is Turning 8 and it is Her Wish to Have Her Friends Join Her in a Chocolaty Treat
An All Dessert Birthday
Oh How Sweet!

The Menu Will be Loads of Fun and Ever Quite so Dandy

Ice cream, Cupcakes, Cookies, and oodles of Chocolate Candy!

Enjoy lunch before the party so you will be ready to eat all the chocolate you want!

We had a variety of treats to dip in the chocolate fountain. As well as milk and coffee for the adults.

For games they had a contest to see who could stack the most oreos without them falling. I underestimated their ability on this one.... I should have said a time limit and see who could stack the most in a short amount of time without them falling! I really didn't think we would need the whole case of oreos for this! They also had a oreo eating race. They had to lick the cream filling and couldn't bite the chocolate until the cream was all gone.

Knowing the potential for a mess with all the chocolate, I made them aprons. It was a nice favor for them to be able to take home as well.
